**Accounts Assistant Job Description**

For an Accounts Assistant, the primary responsibility will be to look after various tasks related to record-keeping, tax filling. The role is crucial in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and assisting with financial analysis.
- **Bookkeeping**: Accurately recording financial transactions in TALLY (accounting software) such as accounts payable and accounts receivable entries, expense reimbursements, and petty cash management.
- **Data Entry**: Accurate data entry of financial transactions and maintaining updated financial records. All entries are made in Tally Software:
1. Sales, Purchase, payments, receipts & bank statements2. Credit & Debit note entries.3. TDS entry in Tally from 26AS.Finalising the Tally data and send the tally backup to CA as & when requested.
- **Financial Reporting**: Assisting in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- **Audit Support**: Providing support during internal and external audits by organizing and providing necessary financial documentation to our CA.
- **Tax Support**: Assisting with tax-related tasks such as:
1. Preparing Monthly GST return (GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B), tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.2. Professional Tax return
- **Financial Documentation**: Maintaining organized and accurate financial records, ensuring confidentiality and security of sensitive information.

1. Bank Reconciliation2. GST Reconciliation3. Make creditors payment by cheques4. Solve debtors queries on mail5. Handling petty cash with basic documentation6. Maintaining FD & LIC records of employees
- **Compliance**: Staying updated with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies to ensure compliance in financial processes.

1. All Bank related work post import and export as per current norms2. Prepare and maintain progressive total of monthly sales as per existing norms.
- TDS: Making TDS Challans1. TDS returns
2. Send quarterly TDS return challans & payment receipts to CA.
- **Salary**: To calculate monthly salary of employees. Preparing and maintaining monthly salary statements & salary slips for all employees.
- Monthly online payment of electricity bills, maintenance bills & courier bills

To excel as an Accounts Assistant, one should have a good understanding of basic accounting principles, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.

Proficiency in accounting software -Tally and Microsoft Excel is expected.
Additionally, good communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration within the team and other departments.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
