**Supervisor, Fraud & Risk (Gurgaon)**

An entry level supervisor role who leads others, identifies, assesses, and mitigates fraud and safety risk to travelers, partners, suppliers, and Expedia Group as a whole. Works across orgs and Lines of Business (LoB) to resolve risk issues and communicates internally and externally at all levels. Supports team leadership, escalations, and reporting functionality.

**What You'll Do**:

- Works with staff to develop individual development plans addressing employee needs and meeting team goals
- Evaluates performance regularly, identifying learning needs
- Provides continuous coaching and constructive feedback to encourage ongoing development
- Creates and executes performance management plans
- Clarifies roles, accountabilities and decision-making among team members
- Helps team members prioritize and link daily work to broader objectives
- Manages workloads to ensure all team members are fully deployed and skills are matched to the work requirements
- Assists in the hiring and onboarding of new team members
- Understands key performance indicators related to own work and the importance of metrics in defining success of the team (e.g. efficiency and effectiveness)
- Monitors team performance for trends or deficiencies. Coaches team members proactively for improvement
- Uses data and dashboards to monitor and assess team performance
- Utilizes resources to complete tasks; tracks efficiency using reports and tools
- Begin to distinguish between activities and tasks that add differing levels of value; begins to determine potential improvements to impact quality
- Demonstrates attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset; double-checks accuracy of output to ensure high quality delivery
- Provides coaching and feedback to improve performance and enhance capabilities of direct reports. This requires deep understanding of our process and tools on an ongoing basis
- Understands project timeline and supports development of schedules to achieve project milestones
- Works with more experienced team members to identify resources required to support a project
- Keeps relevant stakeholders informed of progress toward or changes to task timing that impact the project schedule
- Begins to takes ownership for completion of a small project or a small piece of a larger project
- Develops an understanding of current skills needed to complete work within the team
- Assists in planning for financial/material resource usage
- Assists in assessing resource usage and duplication
- Assists with managing daily team capacity within own functional area
- Assists team members in the creation of routine technical communication materials (e.g. policies & procedures, guidelines, presentations, messages)
- Begins to develop an understanding of the different audience groups in the business unit/function that receive technical communications and how they differ from each other
- Acquires a basic understanding of how the department operates and fits into the larger organization
- Develops awareness of and communicates to the team the policies, practices, trends, and information that impact the organization, its customers, suppliers, and partners
- Develops basic understanding of the financial impact of decisions/solutions on the organization, its customers, suppliers, and partners

**Who You Are**:

- Bachelor's Degree in related field; or equivalent related professional experience
- 6-8 years applicable experience
- At least 1+year of experience as a supervisor
- Active Listening Skills
- Ability to make data driven decisions
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively among competing priorities.
- Understanding of Expedia Group Fraud & Risk tools and technology
- Expertise in fraud & risk domain (e.g. best practices, standards, regulations)
- Demonstrated ability to lead fraud & risk investigations
- Initiative (e.g. proactiveness, problem solving, "go get what's next")
- Attention to Detail (e.g. quality assurance, peer review)
- Communication Skills (e.g. verbal, non-verbal, written, listening)
- Customer Service Skills (e.g. stakeholder management, conflict resolution)
