Cameraman/woman Intern

We are seeking a dedicated and talented Assistant Cameraman to join our team. The Assistant Cameraman will work closely with the Director of Photography and Camera Operator to ensure the smooth operation of all camera equipment and assist in achieving the desired visual results for our projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Camera Equipment Management**:

- Assist in the setup, calibration, and maintenance of all camera equipment.
- Ensure that all cameras, lenses, and related gear are properly stored and cared for.
- Prepare and organize equipment for shoots, ensuring everything is in working order.
- **Assistance during Filming**:

- Assist the Camera Operator and Director of Photography during shoots.
- Handle the loading and unloading of film or digital media, ensuring proper care and storage.
- Set up and operate camera dollies, cranes, and other specialized camera equipment as required.
- **Focus and Framing**:

- Assist in maintaining proper focus and framing during filming.
- Work closely with the Camera Operator to follow shot lists and capture the desired visuals.
- **Communication and Coordination**:

- Coordinate with the camera department and other crew members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Communicate effectively with the Director, Camera Operator, and other team members to understand and execute their requirements.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines related to camera equipment and operations.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to filming and photography.
- **Post-Production Support**:

- Assist in transferring and organizing footage for post-production.
- Work with the editing team to provide any additional footage or support as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as an Assistant Cameraman or similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining professional camera equipment.
- Strong understanding of focus, framing, and cinematography techniques.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy equipment and standing for extended periods.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Knowledge of various camera systems and brands.
- Familiarity with different types of camera mounts, rigs, and stabilizers.
- Basic understanding of lighting techniques and equipment.
- Experience with digital video formats and post-production processes.
