**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with clients and internal team members to understand project requirements and goals.
- Design and develop custom WordPress websites that align with client branding and objectives.
- Create visually appealing and user-friendly website layouts, incorporating modern design trends and best practices.
- Develop responsive websites that perform optimally across various devices and screen sizes.
- Customize WordPress themes and templates to meet specific client needs and design requirements.
- Install and configure WordPress plugins to enhance website functionality and meet project requirements.
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure website functionality, usability, and compatibility across different browsers and devices.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and search engine optimization (SEO).Troubleshoot and resolve any website issues or bugs that arise during the development process.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of high-quality websites that exceed client expectations.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a WordPress Designer/Developer or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in WordPress development, including custom theme development, plugin integration, and customization
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web development languages and frameworks.
- Solid understanding of responsive web design principles and best practices.
- Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Sketch.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and familiarity with SEO plugins for WordPress.
- Familiarity with website hosting, domain management, and DNS configuration.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work within established deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot website issues effectively.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
- A portfolio showcasing previous WordPress design and development projects is highly desirable.
