**Overall Purpose of The Job**
- This role is responsible for the career development of seafarers in the fleet pool and focus on the overall improvement of seafarers’ performance and shall ensure of the effective and efficient delivery of crewing service to all stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities and Tasks**
- 1. Responsible for the crew mobilisation process for respective fleet/seafarers, to meet timeline as per rotation plan.
2. Responsible for proper planning of all Ratings in fleet and ensuring fleet strength
3. Responsible for the pre-joining briefing and de-briefing of all ranks.
4. Manages the mobilisation process and monitors/guides other members of the mobilisation cell.
5. Ensures needed travel arrangements are fulfilled
6. Maintain relationship with seafarers in respective fleet.

8. Monitor seafarer compliance ensuring full compliance with relevant international and Flag State legislation, Union agreements and other applicable documents ensuring the levels are compatible with the vessel’s requirements.
9. Plays an active part in the development of the seafarers' career by utilising the information in Appraisals, Seafarer Development Checklists and Personal Training Record Books. Ensure that identified training is carried out by coordinating with the Training Manager for implementation of any training needs and/or recommendation of seagoing personnel. Follow up with Fleet Crew Manager or client for the seafarers who are assigned any training to complete on-board as per training matrix.
10. Ensures ShipSure crewing data quality for the pool.
11. Ensures implementation of procedures in an emergency.
12. Manage all crew welfare matters (including medical cases) with the support of other teams ( identify welfare matters)
KEY SUCCESS MEASURES:
12. Decrease in non-compliant mobilizations
13. Timeliness of Seafarer mobilization
14. Increased retention of seafarers
15. Increased efficiency of crewing service delivery
16. Positive feedback from stakeholders (internal and external)

**Required Experience**
- ESSENTIAL:

- Excellent communication (oral and written) skills.
- Thorough awareness and good understanding of cultural and diversity issues.
- Good organisational and planning skills.
- Proven ability to work to, and meet, tight deadlines.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime, Transportation and Logistics Operation, Business Administration or related fields and/or related work experience in Crew Management/Manning.
- Thorough knowledge of the business.
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizing skills
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
- Strong customer service mind-set and solution-oriented
- Strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships across all organizational levels.

DESIRABLE:

- Previous relevant managerial experience in Crewing Operations.
- Previous relevant experience in managing Greek tanker clients
- Knowledge of Marine Operations Support and Maritime Services
- Experience in port operation planning, cargo controlling or dispatching or shipping line and logistics company
