**Job Description: Quantitative Faculty**
**Responsibilities**:
**Curriculum Development**: Designing and developing comprehensive study material, lesson plans, and practice exercises that align with the institute's curriculum and exam patterns.
**Content Creation**: Creating engaging and effective teaching materials, including presentations, worksheets, online resources, and mock test papers.
**Student Engagement**: Ensuring active participation and interaction in the classroom, addressing student queries, and providing personalized guidance to students as needed.
**Assessment and Feedback**: Conducting regular assessments, mock tests, and quizzes to evaluate student progress. Providing constructive feedback to help students improve their performance.
**Performance Analysis**: Analyzing student performance data to identify trends, areas of improvement, and adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
**Staying Updated**: Keeping abreast of the latest developments and changes in the exam patterns, syllabi, and teaching methodologies to ensure the highest quality of instruction.
**Qualifications**:
**Educational Background**: A postgraduate degree (M.Sc., M.Tech, or equivalent) in Mathematics, Statistics, Quantitative Economics, or a related field. A Ph.D. can be a plus, but it's not always a requirement.
**Competitive Exam Knowledge**: In-depth understanding of the quantitative section of various competitive exams, including the ability to solve a wide range of questions, explain concepts clearly, and provide shortcuts and strategies.
**Communication Skills**: Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex concepts in a simple and understandable manner.
**Passion for Teaching**: A genuine passion for teaching and a strong desire to help students succeed in their exams.
**Adaptability**: Ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to the diverse learning styles and abilities of students.
**Technological Proficiency**: Familiarity with online teaching tools, digital resources, and virtual classroom platforms is advantageous.
**Patience and Empathy**: Patience in handling doubts and questions, and empathy towards students' challenges and concerns.
**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Kolkata, West Bengal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
