**About the team**:

The Technical Manager - Developer Experience role within the Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) is responsible for driving key initiatives that impact the entire CTO organization. This role involves managing various cross functional initiatives and helping streamlines the processes, while bringing out efficiencies. The Technical Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, drive innovation, and champion the integration of key platforms & solutions across the organization.

**What you’ll own**
- Working closely with OCTO Leadership team, Engineering, Technology, service delivery and/or other cross-functional teams as part of managing initiatives driven by OCTO organization.
- Hands on Technical Manager/Architect who can write code, architect solutions and develop the best technical design & approach for new initiatives.
- Ability to manage existing products & platforms focusing on continuous improvement
- Work closely with senior engineers & architects and provide technical guidance for systems and process optimization opportunities.
- Project Management experience and ability to manage daily activities of the development team.
- Instill best practices for software development and documentation, assure designs meet requirements, and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules.
- Assess compliance, risks, and vulnerabilities to ensure all systems and baselines are operationally sound, performant at scale, and exceed customer expectations.
- Support growth of engineers via hiring, goal setting, development of individual development plans, and performance reviews.
- Collaborate with peer teams on complex, global engineering efforts to ensure architecture agreement, resource coordination, and implementation timelines.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions.
- Ensure proper communication concerning changes in established milestones or challenges that may affect the outcomes.

**What you bring**
- Experience working with GitHub Copilot.
- Experience in REST APIs/ Micro services architecture, DevOps and CI/CD Platforms
- Hands-on development experience preferably Java or.Net.

Strong understanding/expertise in building solutions using AI & Cloud Technologies
- AI and Cloud Development experience.
- Strong experience on end to end SDLC process.
- Good understanding of SAFE agile principles & experience working with Scrum/Kanban agile methodology.
- Collaborative mindset, along with ability to communicate effectively with senior management and other departments.
- Ability to effectively organize and contribute to multiple organizational initiatives and encourage coworkers to do the same.
- Open to learning new technologies.
- Ability and flexibility to align with organizational priorities
- Fintech/payments domain expertise.
- Cloud Development and Software architecture Experience

- GenAI implementation experience
- Data analytics skills - using tools like Excel/PowerBI/Tableau
