You will be working as Product Owner and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to R&D Team Lead and will be responsible for research and development (R&D) for a specific product or system (or clearly identified component of those) and first contact person in R&D for (market-facing) product management and other external stakeholders like engineering. Supporting them on product-related issues. Driving the technical direction of development (e.g. acting as product owner in an agile team) or organizes product maintenance.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Instrumentation engineer with deep understanding on ABB 800xA DCS like 800xA, Advant MOD300, Forboro IA Systems, TDC, DeltaV
- Learning any new distributed control system including legacy control systems and interacting with various stakeholders to understand the customer demands, update self with latest trends and technologies
- Developing and maintaining customer demos to showcasing product functionalities, features and value proposition for customers. Coming out with out of the box ideas to make the demos more presentable, contemporary and attractive to customers
- Understanding requirements and designing from stakeholder, product manager, break down to user stories for development and timely delivery
- Responsible for creating clear and concise documentation such as user manual and configuration manuals on features or solutions or products
- Ready to support end to end product development throughout the product development cycle

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering
- Minimum 10 - 15 years of experience in working in distributed control system for engineering and commissioning, ABB 800xA DCS and Sattline DCS
- Good understanding on DCS System architecture which includes various processors and network components
- Working Knowledge on public interfaces OPC UA, OPC Classic along with S88 batch control knowledge is preferrable
- Experience working in an agile development environment, development environment (TFS, Visual Studio) with expertise in CAFÉ tool
- Hands on experience in DCS like 800xA, Advant MOD300, Forboro IA Systems, TDC, DeltaV (Any three will be preferable). Additional 800xA system knowledge will be preferable
