We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Academic Counselor to join our team at STAFFREX INFO SOLUTIONS (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED. As an Academic Counselor, your role will involve providing guidance and support to students to help them achieve their academic goals. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience. The job is based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India and is a full-time position.

Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
- Proven experience as an Academic Counselor or in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of educational systems, courses, and programs
- Strong counseling and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students
- Ability to empathize and understand students' needs and aspirations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks
- Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders

Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide academic guidance and counseling to students regarding their educational choices
- Assist students in selecting the right courses and programs based on their interests and career goals
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address the academic, personal, and social needs of students
- Identify and address any academic or personal challenges faced by students, and provide appropriate interventions or referrals
- Monitor and track students' academic progress and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure students' academic success
- Stay updated with educational trends and changes in curriculum to provide accurate and relevant guidance to students
- Maintain documentation of counseling sessions, student records, and other relevant information
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance counseling skills and knowledge
