**Responsibilities of a laser technician can include**:

- performing supervised procedures
- assisting health specialists
- implementing patient treatment plans
- communicating with clients
- documenting patient records and medication procedures
- complying with laser safety regulation
- performing skin rejuvenation therapy
- conducting laser hair reduction
- providing tattoo removal services
- liaising with skincare specialists.

**COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS**:

- Possess excellent customer service skills
- Exhibit a strong worth ethic
- Have ability to sell within a retail environment
- Basic computer skills
- Be able to inspire diverse customers and make them feel welcome and valued
- Be a conversationalist who knows how to listen

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE**:

- High school diploma
- All certifications and licenses required to perform services
- Preferred experience in working with esthetics and skin
