Site Superviser

**Position Overview**:
The Construction Building Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the construction activities and ensuring the smooth execution of building projects. They work closely with the project manager, subcontractors, and construction teams to ensure that the work is completed within the specified timeframe, budget, and quality standards. The role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to effectively coordinate and communicate with multiple stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**(1)Project Coordination**: Collaborate with the project manager to develop construction plans, schedules, and budgets. Coordinate activities with subcontractors, suppliers, and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution.

**(2)Site Management**: Oversee all on-site activities, including material deliveries, equipment usage, and construction progress. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards. Address any issues or delays that may arise during construction.

**(3)Team Leadership**: Provide guidance, direction, and supervision to construction crews, subcontractors, and other personnel working on-site. Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure that work is completed efficiently and accurately.

**(4)Quality Control**: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that construction work meets the specified quality standards and adheres to design specifications. Identify and resolve any construction deficiencies or deviations from the plans.

**(5)Documentation and Reporting**: Maintain accurate records of construction activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and safety documentation. Prepare reports for project managers and stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, issues, and recommendations.

**(6)Communication and Collaboration**: Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, clients, and regulatory agencies. Facilitate effective communication between different teams and ensure that project requirements are met.

**(7)Budget and Cost Control**: Monitor project expenses and ensure that construction activities are conducted within the allocated budget. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to optimize resource utilization.

**(8)Risk Management**: Identify potential risks and hazards on the construction site. Implement and enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations. Take appropriate measures to mitigate risks and maintain a safe working environment.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or technical training in construction management are preferred.
- Proven experience in construction site supervision or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and building codes.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in using construction management software and tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kolkata, West Bengal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
