Positioned for rapid growth, we are expanding in Mysore and seeking an experienced Sales Representative to spearhead our retail trade initiatives.

Role Summary:
The Sales Representative will be a key player in enhancing our distribution footprint across Mysore. Focused on both primary and secondary sales targets, your role will involve direct market visits, distributor, wholesaler and retailer management, route planning, and inventory management. Your efforts will ensure our products are widely available and visible, contributing significantly to our brand’s presence in the retail sector.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and strengthen relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailer and other key accounts to drive sales volumes and achieve sales targets.
- Manage primary and secondary sales targets for the assigned territory, ensuring robust growth in sales performance.
- Conduct market visits to engage with retailers and customers, understanding their needs and ensuring our product range is effectively sold.
- Implement strategic route planning to optimize market coverage and product distribution.
- Oversee inventory levels and supply chain activities to ensure timely product availability in alignment with market demands.
- Execute promotional strategies and marketing campaigns to enhance product visibility and consumer engagement.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and retail dynamics to adapt strategies and capture growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with overall company objectives.
- Maintain comprehensive reports on sales activities, market insights, and performance metrics, contributing to informed decision-making.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in retail sales within the FMCG sector, demonstrating a track record of achieving sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the retail trade environment, including distributor and wholesaler dynamics.
- Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to plan routes and manage inventory effectively.
- Proficient in sales reporting and analysis with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Motivated, result-oriented individual with a drive for continuous learning and improvement.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
