We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) specialized in Geography to join our team at a CBSE-affiliated school.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans in geography that align with CBSE curriculum standards and learning objectives.
- Deliver interactive lectures, lead discussions, and organize activities to enhance students' understanding of geographical concepts, processes, and phenomena.
- Utilize instructional resources, including maps, charts, GIS technology, and multimedia tools, to create dynamic learning experiences and stimulate student interest.
- Design and administer assessments, such as tests, quizzes, and projects, to evaluate students' knowledge, skills, and critical thinking abilities.
- Provide constructive feedback to students on their academic performance, offer guidance for improvement, and support their individual learning needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages collaboration, inquiry, and respect for diverse perspectives on geographical issues.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary connections, incorporate real-world examples, and enhance the relevance of geography education.
- Stay abreast of developments in geography education, including changes to CBSE curriculum guidelines, assessment practices, and instructional strategies.

**Qualifications**:

- Master's degree or higher in Geography or a related field from a recognized university.
- Teaching certification or eligibility for certification as per CBSE requirements.
- Previous experience teaching geography at the secondary level, preferably within the CBSE curriculum framework.
- Proficiency in geographic information systems (GIS), spatial analysis techniques, and cartographic visualization tools is desirable.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex geographical concepts clearly and engage students effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to plan, implement, and assess instructional activities efficiently.
- Passion for geography education, a commitment to student-centered learning, and a dedication to fostering students' curiosity and understanding of the world.
- Professionalism, integrity, and a collaborative spirit, with a willingness to contribute to the school community and participate in professional development opportunities.

**Salary**: 30-35K in hand
