The Copywriting Team at Crossbeats creates concept/copy solutions for eCommerce assets, packaging, digital and marketing communications. As part of the bigger Brand Content Team, the copywriters are gatekeepers of the Crossbeats brand voice for all consumer touchpoints.

Essential Job Functions-
Write high quality short form copy to serve as headlines, taglines and calls to action that deliver results and resonates with consumers while representing the brands core valuesWrite compelling and grammatically clean long form copy for use on product pages, product descriptions, press releases, and other forms of contentWrite accurate and brand appropriate copy for use in print, advertising, packaging and sales materialsTake requests and marketing briefs to generate on-brand copy that will resonate with the target customersEdit, review and proofread copy that is written by other teams and self-edit your own work for accuracy and consistency in brand voice and toneWrite copy for each channel based on strategy, objective, concept and target audienceStay aware and in front of social, cultural and pop-culture conversations, vocabulary, slang, issues, and memes. Maintain an understanding of past, present and future trends in culture and relevant industries (preferably a focus in fashion, consumer tech, urban brands, sports, gaming and music)

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities-
Experience writing press releases, packaging copy, blog content, product descriptions and sales copyMust stay ahead of culture and have a deep understanding of the current events, vocabulary and conversations in relevant industries (fashion, streetwear, urban brands, sports, gaming and music)Must be able to write in multiple styles, formats and tonesMust be able to prioritize multiple projects and deliver high quality work in an efficient and quick mannerMust have a foundational understanding of the ecommerce landscape, and the nuances of copywriting in different digital channelsAdvanced Proficiency with Microsoft OfficeStrong initiative, organizational, communication skills, and multi-tasking skills with the ability to work both as a part of a team as well as independently with little supervisionAn understanding of and/or a passion for the lifestyle brands and consumer technology

Required Education and ExperienceBA/BS required or equivalent experience2-3 years of marketing, direct response or brand copywriting experience with a fashion, streetwear, or lifestyle brand
