- Medical Lab Technology

**Project**: Tech Mahindra SMART Academy for Healthcare, Delhi

**Experience**: Minimum 6 years of clinical experience working in Pathology lab (Hospital, Diagnostic Centers or Individual Doctor Lab)

**Qualification**: B.Sc. (Medical Laboratory Technology/Medical Biochemistry/ Microbiology) or MSc. (Medical Laboratory Technology/Medical Biochemistry/ Microbiology)

**Number of openings**: 1

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Planning classroom training including an orientation program in consultation with the Head of Academics.
- Planning for students’ Practical experience, ward assignments and assessment in consultation with the Head of Academics.
- Teaching classroom and practical sessions for Phlebotomy and Medical Lab course.
- Preparation for classes and demonstration, display of educational material on the notice board.
- Guiding students through different study methods and use of reference books and library, individual attention to students when necessary, including individual assignments.
- Conducting periodical and terminal tests.
- Organizing seminars, panel discussion, debates, workshop etc.
- Ensuring that students who appear for examination fulfil all requirements.
- Oversee students’ lab and clinical work.
- Mentor, counsel, the students for any disciplinary issues and job placements.
- Maintenance of Permanent/cumulative record of students and maintenance of batch files.
- Staying up-to-date with clinical trends.
- Maintain inventory of medical equipment for training and impart appropriate knowledge.
- Any other administrative and academic task assigned by Project Manager/HOD Academics
- Hospital visits and Community visits if required for academic development.
- Batch coordinator ship for DMLT and Phlebotomy.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills, decision making ability, teamwork.
- 1 Year of teaching/training experience along with clinical preferred.
