**Job Brief**:
**Dance teachers work in a variety of styles which include**:

- Contemporary dance
- Kathak
- Cultural dance (Indian Dance)
- Western

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with curriculum development and coordination of classroom and field instruction
- Develop, coordinate, and execute creative dance activities with a focus on age-appropriate skill-building and discipline and on increasing self-esteem and self-awareness
- Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and records
- Instruct fundamental dance techniques and choreography to students in group and individual settings
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, faculty, students and colleagues
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment at all times
- Attend staff development workshops and in-service training
- Develop and execute school dances

**Requirements And Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in dance/vocal, Masters with B.ed.
- Experience instructing dance classes and singing preferable
- Experience teaching dance to a variety of ages and skill levels
- Ability to be creative and forward thinking
- Ability to effectively communicate.

**Salary**: ₹17,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
