**Job Title: Technician Events
Function: Events
Location: Lonavala

Primary Purpose

To provide AV support across a range of live events and to be accountable to all stakeholders for their delivery.
Major skills and accountabilities of position (4-6 major accountabilities)

1. Ability to operate digital and analogue sound desks - Allen & Heath, Soundcraft.
2. LED Videowall, Video Projection & switcher Operation.
3. Operating remote controlled or stand-alone video camera-Sony. Basic lighting skills operating vision mixers Panasonic, Black Magic.
4. Team Player with a positive & flexible attitude to the workplace.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Should liaison with client management and internal clients regarding the exact audio visual requirements for events. This will include advice and assistance with PowerPoint presentations, audio and video conferences.
2. Operation of audio - visual equipment as allocated by the AV or Venue Management during events with the aim to provide high quality technical standards.
3. Positioning, installation and operation of equipment within all event areas.
4. Perform all necessary pre-event checks as required for the event, at least 30 mins prior to the start of the allocated event.
5. Complete understanding of signal flow in both audio and video installations.
6. Undertake any reasonable ad-hoc requests from clients regarding audio-visual equipment and event presentation.
7. To update records of equipment usage (when applicable), to make minor adjustments and repairs to equipment when necessary. Raise gate pass for faults and liaise with relevant parties for repairs of malfunctioning equipment.
8. Proactive maintenance / reporting to ensure all AV equipment is always of the highest standard and functioning correctly.
Work relations (context - main interfaces - functional report)
1. Reports to Events Manager.
2. Interfaces strongly with department head and event employees.

Experience and qualifications required for the job

**Minimum Qualification**: Bachelor's degree in hospitality or event management

**Minimum Job Experience**: Atleast of 1 year of experience

**Reporting to**: Events Manager
