Position Summary

Collaborating with multiple teams at our company, the editor should be able to take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them into video deliverables.

**Responsibilities**:

- Edit and interpret the footage to create content, ads and brand communications
- Edit campaign images and knowledge of colour correction
- Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams or clients for a wide range of video materials, communication, gifs and marketing materials.
- Work on a wide range of projects and media, using various computer software to visualize and develop innovative videos that meet business goals.
- Obtain input from management, ensuring the deliverable meets organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the company or client appropriately.
- Work independently and cooperatively on multiple projects with the marketing team, meeting deadlines and scheduling project implementation based on workload, which may include five or more simultaneous projects.
- Examine existing processes, identifying flaws and creating solutions to improve video content.
- Update and maintain internal databases of videos.

Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Competencies
- 2 years of work experience as an Video Editor and Image Editor or a comparable portfolio.
- Experience as an editor or in a related field.
- Demonstrable skills with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency with premiere pro, after effects, photoshop or equal softwares.
- A strong eye for visual composition.
- Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Able to give and receive constructive criticism
