**Position Overview**:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kayak Coach to join our team and provide expert instruction to individuals of all skill levels in the art of kayaking. As a Kayak Coach, you will play a pivotal role in promoting water safety, fostering skill development, and creating an enjoyable and educational experience for participants.

**Responsibilities**:
**Instruction and Training**:Provide comprehensive instruction to individuals and groups on proper kayaking techniques, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
Design and implement training programs tailored to different skill levels, including beginners, intermediate, and advanced kayakers.
Conduct on-water demonstrations to showcase correct paddling techniques and maneuvers.

**Safety and Risk Management**:Prioritize and enforce safety guidelines, ensuring participants are equipped with appropriate safety gear and are aware of emergency procedures.
Monitor weather conditions and water currents to assess potential risks before each session.
Respond promptly and effectively to any safety concerns or emergencies during training sessions.

**Skill Assessment and Feedback**:Evaluate participants' kayaking skills and capabilities through observation and hands-on assessment.
Provide constructive feedback to help participants improve their paddling techniques, posture, and overall performance.

**Lesson Planning**:Develop lesson plans that are progressive and cater to participants' skill levels, helping them build on their existing knowledge and abilities.
Incorporate a variety of drills, exercises, and games to keep training sessions engaging and effective.

**Communication**:Communicate clearly and effectively with participants, addressing their questions, concerns, and goals.
Maintain open lines of communication with parents, guardians (if applicable), and management regarding participant progress and any issues that arise.

**Equipment Maintenance**:Ensure that all kayaking equipment is in proper working condition and well-maintained.
Coordinate with the appropriate personnel to address any equipment repairs or replacements as needed.

**Record Keeping**:Maintain accurate records of participant attendance, progress, and any incidents that occur during training sessions.
Prepare regular reports for management to evaluate the effectiveness of the coaching program.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: A minimum of [3 years] of experience as a professional kayak coach or instructor.
- **Certifications**: Possession of relevant certifications, First Aid, and CPR.
- **Expertise**: Proficiency in various kayaking techniques, safety protocols, and rescue procedures.
- **Communication**: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with participants, colleagues, and management.
- **Teaching Skills**: Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and skill levels.
- **Physical Fitness**: Strong physical fitness and stamina to demonstrate techniques and participate in water-based activities.
- **Problem-Solving**: Quick thinking and sound judgment to manage unexpected situations and emergencies.
- **Passion**: A genuine passion for kayaking and a desire to share that enthusiasm with others.

**Salary**: From ₹30,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Rachakonda hills, Hyderabad, Telangana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
