**Location: Pune**

**Job Purpose Statement**

This role is responsible for assisting the Category Manager in creating purchase orders in any spend categories globally. The role is also responsible for adhering to prescribed due diligence process from PRs to POs, ensure record of proper documentation with POs, coordinate logistics with supplier for timely delivery of products for Sungard AS.

**Key Responsibilities**

1. Support transactional procurement tasks ties for any spend category (Hardware/Software/ Maintenance, Sales/ Marketing, Business Services) per Category Manager’s guidance in order to optimize the purchasing power of the assigned categories,

2. Responsible for completing the due diligence process from PR to PO cycle, checking for supplier onboarding, making PO within procurement delivery TAT, follow PO with supplier for timely delivery, all of the above with mínimal supervision.

3. Keeping all parties updated on status during entire PR-2-PO cycle

4. Assisting Category Manager(s) in recording savings, coordinate RFP/ bidding process, compliance with corporate and procurement policies as and when needed

5. Responsible for delivering on the assigned performance & development goals,

6. Manage expectations independently with internal requestors at a transaction level.

7. Work with International & Domestic Suppliers within the North America and UK region.

**Technical Competencies (Experience and Knowledge)**

Exposure to PR-to-PO processes of shared services of MNCs, Data Center environment, Major Hardware/Software Suppliers/resellers, SAM/ITAM processes, RFx & online bidding tools, knowledge of Oracle EBS operations

Experience of 4-5+ years in P2P/Buyer/Logistics

Experience in working with supplier in HW/SW of Data Centre environment, Consulting Services Suppliers of US/UK,

SCM/CPM/CSCP/ ITAM/ SAM certification

**Skills and Behavioral Competencies**

Excellent written and verbal communications across internal and external resources

Organizational awareness, team player, ability to multitask and basic project management skills

Interpersonal skills with collaborative approach and able to manage expectations with stakeholders
