**What's this role about?**

**Here's how you'll contribute**:
AEM SITES Consultant at Zensar take end-to-end ownership of projects and provide valuable expertise in the software development life cycle, from concept, architecture, design, implementation, and testing.

You’ll do this by:

- To architect, design and develop (through Team) solution for product/project & sustenance delivery.
- Hands-on and Implement the solutions along with a high technically focused team to provide technical expertise in the Design and planning of solutions.
- Build solutions on top of the AEM Sites and Assets.
- Transfers and ensures business requirements into technical specs and provides technical implementation solution and recommendations
- Define implementation processes, and best practices
- Handle the Demos and POCs for clients.
- Provide technical guidance to team and mentor the technical focused team.
- Review Code and ensure code quality, readability and security
- Hands-on contribution as part of the team and lead the day-to-day technical activities bringing in excellence in implementation.
- Work closely with clients, developers, system administrators and BA’s to build AEM solutions.
- Provide solutions in integrating third-party systems with AEM as part of overall architecture.
- Provide the leadership and direction to team by leading the projects in the Agile model taking on the different roles required in the project.

**Skills required to contribute**:

- Must: Deep understanding of Java, Java EE, Servlets, JSP, Tag libraries, and JSTL skills, combined with a strong understanding of Enterprise Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate
- Must: Deep understanding of all AEM building blocks including templates, components, touch UI dialogs etc., and AEM development
- Must: Deep understanding of Sightly (HTL), Sling Models, Queries, OSGi services and components
- Must: Deep understanding of the AEM Sites deployment, Dispatcher Configuration, Clustering
- Must: Deep understanding in Java, web development experience, other Content Management system experience
- Must: Expertise with core web technologies including XML, XHTML, Client Server-Side Scripting

languages such as JavaScript, and JSP, and web services development using RESTful
implementations
- Preferred: Expertise in AEM foundational concepts, including the CRX repository, the AEM

platform, the use of core frameworks such as Apache Sling and Apache Felix.
- Preferred: Good understanding of and hands
- on development experience with relevant "Java

CMS" frameworks including Apache Sling for content
JSR- 170 / JSR- 283 for Content Management, JSR- 168 and JSR- 286 for Portal development, and
Apache Felix for OSGi bundle development.
- Preferred: Good Understanding of Integration with other Adobe Marketing Cloud Products like

Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target etc.
- Preferred: Good Understanding of Latest Features in AEM
- Overall experience of 6 - 10+ years with 5+ years of AEM experience.
