Job Description: Junior Finance Executive

Position Overview:
As a Junior Finance Executive, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the financial operations of the company. Reporting to the Finance Manager or Senior Finance Executive, you will assist in various financial activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial processes. This role offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in finance and accounting while contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Financial Data Entry and Maintenance**:

- Input financial transactions into the accounting system accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
- **Assistance in Financial Reporting**:

- Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and budgets under the guidance of senior finance staff.
- Help analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- **Support in Accounts Payable and Receivable**:

- Assist in processing invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable statements regularly to ensure accuracy.
- **Compliance and Regulation**:

- Assist in ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Assist in preparing documentation for audits and regulatory filings.
- **Financial Analysis and Forecasting**:

- Help in analyzing financial performance metrics and preparing forecasts.
- Assist in conducting financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
- **General Administrative Support**:

- Provide general administrative support to the finance department, such as filing documents, organizing financial records, and responding to inquiries.
- **Collaboration and Communication**:

- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and support cross-functional initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding financial matters.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial analysis.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate across departments.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
