**Project Associate**

Green Worms is a Social Impact and Circular economy start up based in India. Our mission is to enable the circular economy to reach at the last mile by providing dignified jobs especially to the women workforce in the rural coastal areas and enable them to eradicate poverty and the waste crisis by creating women professionals and waste-preneurs in the waste management sector.

**Job Summary-**

The Project Associate is responsible for managing the waste value chain process and ensuring that it’s carried out in compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The Job involves managing the Project Team, monitoring Project Activities, developing

Awareness Campaigns and Programs

**Duties and Key Responsibilities-**

1. The Project Associate will work closely with the ULB (Urban Local Body) and waste managers (ULB waste collectors & RRC workers) towards their overall social and economic development.

2. Develop and manage the supply chain for MRF Center including sourcing and procuring raw materials, managing inventory, and coordinating logistics.

3. Monitor the project progress and ensure that they comply with relevant laws and regulations. This may involve conducting regular inspections and audits of project sites and ensure that they are managed safely and responsibly.

4. Manage the resources required for the project such as personnel, equipment and materials.it includes supervision of project team including waste collectors and sorters, to ensure that they are properly trained and equipped to carry out their duties safely and effectively.

5. Develop and maintain accurate records and documentation of waste management activities, including waste generation, collection, transportation, and disposal. Prepare regular reports on Project activities and share them with relevant stakeholders.

6. Conducting community awareness programs to educate the community and
ULB Management about plastic waste awareness and management.

7. Conducting IEC Activities including training programs and capacity building initiatives in ULB’s

8. Maintain knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to Project Management

9. Organize and Schedule Field Visits as and when required for Project documentation.

**Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications-**

1. Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.

3. Proficiency in digital tools and platforms, such as Microsoft Office, Google

4. Detail-oriented with good communication skills.

5. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

6. Good understanding of social and environmental concepts and methods.

**Skills-**

1. Good interpersonal skills and ability to work.

2. Be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the sector.

3. Ability to develop good relationships with stakeholders.

4. Good data management, documentation, and reporting skills.

5. Good computer skills - MS Office and Working on CRM tools.

6. Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.

7. Able to learn new systems, methods, processes, and procedures.

8. Able to meet deadlines and produce quality outputs.

9. Proactive and self-motivated.

10. Humility, honesty, transparency, integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

As per Industry Standards.

**Salary**: ₹14,603.64 - ₹30,537.94 per month
