Associate Sourcer

A trusted partner to hiring managers, team-mates and the broader HR team, whilst working to deliver high quality talent within a defined client group subset or volume/entry level talent segment.

Who you are:

- 1-2 years of Bachelor's or equivalent experience
- Experience with Applicant Tracking System usage (Workday)
- Strong Communication - verbal and written
- Basic assessment/interviewing knowledge
- Recruiting process familiarity
- Basic negotiation skills
- Team contribution
- Stakeholder responsiveness

**What you’ll do**:

- Consistently responds to stakeholder requests in an accurate, timely and professional manner.
- Seeks to have a good understanding of (internal and external) customers’ needs, and begins to develop the skills necessary to help customers understand business challenges.
- Seeks to understand the organization's processes, objectives and challenges and their impact on the business.
- Demonstrates basic understanding of the organization’s Recruiting policies and procedures and learns where to obtain additional information if necessary.
- Builds knowledge and develops basic understanding of the organizations current Recruiting programs.
- Develops basic understanding of Recruiting principles, processes and tools.
- Learns about project timelines and a schedule of tasks to achieve project milestones.
- Assists to keep relevant stakeholders informed of progress toward or changes to task timing that impacts the project schedule.
- Acquires a basic understanding of how the department operates and fits into the larger organization.
- Builds awareness of the policies, practices, trends and information that impact the organization and its customers.
- Builds basic understanding of the financial impact of decisions/solutions on the organization and its customers.
- Develops a basic understanding of laws, controls and regulatory requirements.
- Develops a basic understanding of legal and regulatory requirements (e.g. reporting mandates, compliance requirements).
- Develops a basic understanding of internal and external market control environments.
- Researches potential employees résumés, based on the qualifications and experience that is required, using referral tools (e.g. LinkedIn) and complex business software for recruiting.
- Ability to analyze trends across the external market place and connect this into the EG internal talent marketplace.
- Attention to detail & data integrity - maintains appropriate databases/tools, job postings and requisitions.
- Learns about key performance indicators related to own work and the importance of metrics in defining success (e.g., efficiency and effectiveness).
