**Position Purpose**:

- As the Lead
- Employee Relations, person will be responsible for supporting and co-ordinating all aspects of employee relations.
- Person will be responsible for driving people management activities for blue collar and contractual workers at sites
- Person will collaborates with ER business partners, legal teams, and other key stakeholders to develop and implement effective strategies and programs that address employee relations matters across the organization.

**Strategic Responsibilities**:

- Define blue collar & contractual requirements to meet business objectives of the site
- Build and manage a blue collar talent pipeline for site
- Prepare monthly MIS reports with blue collar & contractual employees data
- Digitization & Data Management
- Support & drive interventions that will enhance the process of Digitization in workmen life cycle processes.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Review Compliances, Litigations, Government & Legal liaison activities.
- Monitor the performance and adherence of contract labourers to company policies and safety regulation

**Operational Responsibilities**:

- Drive manpower planning process for their site
- Ensure required number of manpower availability
- Ensure compliance to all manpower related statutory rules & regulations
- Ensuring that grievance handling and disciplinary proceedings are carried out in line with company policy and applicable legislation.
- Interact to understand workplace complaints, conduct appropriate investigations, resolve or escalate appropriately.
- Ensuring timely renewals/ amendments of license and registrations under various labour laws.
- Maintaining Registers applicable under various labour laws on monthly/Annually /periodic basis.
- Filing half-yearly and annual returns as applicable under various labor laws.
- Ensuring display of abstracts under various applicable labour laws at corporate office and at sites & Plants.
- Handle notices, inspections and audits under various labour laws and ensure timely closure of inspections and notices.
- Adherences to the statutory, Salary & Non salary compliance's deadlines and-submit PF ESI PT returns/ Challans on time.
- Coordinating with the contractors for all the provisions including the Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act, Employees State Insurance Act, Provident Fund & Bonus Act, Gratuity Act, Minimum Wages Act, Workman Compensation Act, Building & other Construction Work, Inter State Migration Worker Act, Labour Welfare Fund Act, Maternity Act.
- Prepare and present compliance dashboards and reports on weekly basis, monitor it periodically to ensure their effectiveness, discuss compliance issues with management and advise on the implementation of statutory compliances.
- Maintain accurate records of labor relations activities, negotiations, and agreements.
- Prepare reports for management, regulatory authorities, as required.
- Provide documentation for audit purposes.

**Financial Responsibilities**:

- To ensure that all operations for workforce management are conducted in a cost effective manner
- To ensure that budget allocation is adhered
- Create budgets for Workforce and ensure adherence to budgets
- Contribute to budgetary controls within the area of responsibility

**People Responsibilities**:

- Ensure high productivity at the workplace
- Identify training needs for contractual staff and facilitate the same in planned way
- Liaise with functional heads at site to for building requisite skills & competencies through systematic training & skill-up gradation initiatives for the team

**Education Qualification**:

- MBA or equivalent from a premier B School.**Work Experience**:

- Working knowledge of HR policies, practices, and procedures and local Labour laws
- 8 - 1o yrs’ of experience and familiar working with HR system
