Associate Legal Counsel

- Global Legal Global Business Services (GL-GBS) at Bangalore was established in 2011 and supports the Global legal organization across International Operations, North America Operations and Headquarters. The unit is anchored under Global Legal Operations and responsible for delivering efficient offshoring legal services in high quality. Examples include end-to-end contract management, trademark portfolio management, promotional materials review, export controls screenings, system/process management, data management, and digitalization.**The Position**
As a Compliance Project Coordinator, you will be completely involved in assisting the lawyer in Corporate Legal responsible for Sanctions & Export Control Programmes. Along with this, you will also be involved in below mentioned pointers:
- Project planning and management (incl. ad-hoc support for project leads) and Power Point/Sway presentation creation.
- Perform manual and ad-hoc sanction screenings and legal research on sanctions compliance questions.
- Draw reports from the system along with presentations and monitoring.
- Change management & communications - workstream ownership or support. Example of tasks: create and maintain SharePoint sites/pages, editing and formatting project delivery documents to ensure high quality standards, preparing presentations to Sr. leadership with limited guidance and supervision, scheduling and conducting training sessions to project participants, set-up surveys to gather feedback and prepare report based on the inputs etc.
- Data analysis & processing - assist leads with collection, consolidation of data inputs in relation to project deliverables as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree- 2 - 5 years of working experience in supporting compliance matters with international stakeholders and with project management skills.
- Fluent in English, verbally and written.
- Excellent compliance acumen and analytical skills.
- Strong networking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Quality mind set, accountability, ability to work, timeliness. Excellent command of English, written and spoken.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Collaboration skills, team player.
- Critical thinking and analytical and takes initiative.
- Business and Service minded.
