**Job Title: Structural Draughtsman**

**Job Overview**:
As a Structural Draughtsman, you will play a vital role in the design and construction process by creating detailed technical drawings and plans for structures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with engineering standards and regulations. Your expertise will contribute to the successful execution of architectural and engineering projects, facilitating effective communication between designers, engineers, and construction teams.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Create Detailed Drawings**: Produce accurate and detailed technical drawings, plans, and schematics using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- **Structural Analysis Support**: Collaborate with engineers and architects to interpret design concepts and provide technical support for structural analysis and calculations.
- **Compliance and Standards**: Ensure all drawings and plans adhere to relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- **Material Specifications**: Assist in the selection of appropriate materials for construction projects, considering factors such as strength, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
- **Documentation Management**: Maintain organized records of all drawings and revisions, ensuring version control and accessibility for project stakeholders.
- **Coordination**: Coordinate with other members of the design and construction team to integrate structural designs with architectural and MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) systems.
- **Quality Assurance**: Review drawings for accuracy and completeness, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or errors.
- **Client Communication**: Communicate with clients to understand project requirements and incorporate feedback into design revisions as necessary.
- **Continuing Education**: Stay updated on advancements in structural design, CAD software, and industry best practices through ongoing training and professional development.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Additional certification in CAD drafting or a relevant technical discipline is desirable.
- **Experience**: Proven experience as a Structural Draughtsman or similar role in the construction or engineering industry. Experience with CAD software, such as AutoCAD or Revit, is essential.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications. Strong knowledge of structural design principles, construction techniques, and building materials.
- **Attention to Detail**: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate and error-free drawings.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- **Problem-Solving Ability**: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve design issues in a timely manner.
- **Time Management**: Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- **Adaptability**: Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and work in a fast-paced environment.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- **Software Proficiency**: Experience with advanced CAD software, such as Tekla Structures or SAP2000, is advantageous.
- **Industry Knowledge**: Familiarity with relevant industry software, standards, and regulations, such as AISC (American Institute of Steel Construction) and ACI (American Concrete Institute) codes.
- **Construction Experience**: Previous experience working in the construction industry or exposure to construction processes and terminology.
- **Portfolio**: A portfolio showcasing previous projects and technical drawings is beneficial for demonstrating proficiency and experience in structural drafting.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
