Responsibilities
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs
- Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
- Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
- Rectify arising problems or complaints
- Give prepared plates the “final touch”
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and
- Proven working experience as a Head Chef
- Excellent record of kitchen management
- Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
- Capable of delegating multiple tasks
- Keep up with cooking trends and best practices
**Requirements**:
- Must be well versed in South Indian, Indo-chinese and Continental cuisines
- Hands on experience in food costing and cost control
- Hands on experience in recipe management
Job description
- Responsible for day-to-day operations of kitchen
- Control costs and ensure profitability. Provide food cost on daily basis to management
- Manage the recipe and ensure taste and quality is maintained
