**Job Description**:
As a Demi Chef de Partie (CDP) specializing in Indian and International Cuisine, you'll be an integral part of our culinary team, assisting in the preparation and presentation of dishes that highlight the rich flavors of both Indian and international cuisines. Working closely with the Chef de Partie and Sous Chefs, you'll contribute to menu execution, maintain quality standards, and ensure efficient kitchen operations. Key Responsibilities:

- Food Preparation:

- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces, following standardized recipes and instructions from senior chefs.
- Execute cooking techniques specific to Indian and international cuisines, ensuring proper seasoning, flavor development, and texture consistency.
- Station Assistance:

- Support the Chef de Partie in managing a designated kitchen station, maintaining cleanliness, organization, and adherence to food safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to expedite orders, manage workload, and ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Dish Execution:

- Assist in cooking and plating a variety of dishes, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts, with attention to detail in presentation and garnishing.
- Monitor cooking temperatures and cooking times to ensure food is cooked to perfection and meets quality standards.
- Quality Control:

- Conduct quality checks on ingredients and finished dishes, identifying any deviations from recipe standards and communicating issues to senior chefs.
- Assist in maintaining high standards of food presentation and portion control to enhance the dining experience for guests.
- Cleaning and Maintenance:

- Participate in the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations, following proper sanitation procedures and hygiene practices.
- Ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients, minimizing waste and maintaining freshness.
- Learning and Development:

- Continuously seek opportunities to expand culinary knowledge and skills, learning new recipes, techniques, and cultural culinary traditions.
- Seek feedback from senior chefs and actively participate in training sessions to improve performance and progress in your culinary career.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably as a Commis Chef or Kitchen Assistant, with exposure to Indian and international cuisines.
- Basic understanding of culinary techniques, food safety principles, and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Enthusiasm for learning and willingness to take on new challenges, with a passion for culinary arts and a desire to grow in the hospitality industry.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification is required; culinary training or certification from a culinary institute is a plus.
