As an AIML Trainee, you would be involved in the exciting field of machine learning and artificial intelligence. Here are some key responsibilities and qualifications:

- **Responsibilities**:

- **Data Engineering**: You’ll work with massive and complex datasets, extracting metrics and statistical information using tools like Spark MLlib, Druid, Solr, and Kafka.
- **Feature Extraction and ML Pipelines**: Building robust feature extraction and machine learning training pipelines, with an eye for automation (using tools like Oozie and Airflow).
- **ML Model Development**: Prototyping and developing machine learning models from scratch.
- **Algorithm Research**: Investigating and implementing the latest algorithms to improve training performance.
- **Deep Learning**: Familiarity with deep learning techniques using libraries like PyTorch, Keras, and TensorFlow.
- **Understanding Data Generation**: Not just modeling data, but comprehending the underlying human and computational behavior that generates it.
- **Coding Proficiency**: Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Scala) and comfortable working in a team environment (using Git, testing, code reviews).
- **Qualifications**:

- Strong foundation in classic machine learning algorithms (SVM, Random Forest, Naive Bayes, KNN, etc.).
- Understanding of bias/variance trade-offs, regularization, and dimension reduction.
- Curiosity and self-motivation to learn on the job.
- Creative and critical thinking, with a drive to improve processes.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and find solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to influence decisions.
- **Impact**:

- You’ll collaborate closely with AIML Data and Siri engineering teams to build data, visualization, and other analytic products.
- Develop microservices that facilitate programmatic integration of analytics across the Siri organization.
