**Job Title**: Accountant/Bookkeeper with Sage Timberline Expertise - US Shift
**Location**: Gandhinagar
**Shift**: US Shift (04:00 PM to 02:00 AM)

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries using **Sage Timberline**.
- Handle job costing, project accounting, and construction/real estate-specific financial processes.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and job cost summaries.
- Monitor and reconcile project costs, budgets, and progress, ensuring all records are up to date.
- Process payroll, subcontractor payments, and manage vendor compliance, including lien waivers and contracts.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial close, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.
- Maintain and update AIA billing, contract management, and project documentation as needed.
- Collaborate with US-based project managers, accountants, and other stakeholders to provide financial insights and project performance analysis.
- Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and support for external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with US accounting standards (GAAP) and relevant regulations for the construction industry.
- Provide training and support on Sage Timberline functionalities to internal teams as needed.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-5+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, specifically within the construction or real estate industries.
- Advanced proficiency in **Sage Timberline (Sage 300 Construction & Real Estate)** software.
- Strong understanding of US construction accounting, job costing, and project accounting principles.
- Experience with accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Ability to work independently during **US business hours** (night shift based on location).
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with US-based teams and clients.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Certification in Sage Timberline software.
- Experience with multi-project or multi-company accounting.
- Familiarity with US construction contracts, AIA billing, and lien waivers.
- Understanding of US tax regulations related to construction/real estate projects.
- Experience with audit processes for US-based companies.
