2+ years of experience in SEO, preferably in a related industry [B2C products/Social products/Consumer Apps/User-generated content]

Experience in executing successful link-building strategies

Prior experience in content marketing, content growth and SEO

Passion for SEO and overall internet marketing

Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically and identify and resolve problems

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, possibly including some copywriting skills

Ability to develop, organize, and maintain process documentation

Prefer working in a collaborative, cross-team capacity

Ability to effectively prioritize and manage your time to address multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, startup environment

Expertise in A/B and other testing methods

Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript

Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success

Metrics-driven and analytical; proven ability to prioritize, drive, and achieve results

Self-starter and organized with the ability to prioritize and manage work independently

**What you'll do**

Understand the emotional value that our product brings in the lives of people, and communicate the perceived value of our product to potential users

Major focus will be on optimizing the high-quantity of user-generated content we receive on Now&Me

Your keyword research and content planning should be data driven using tools like Ahrefs or SEMrush.

Give guidelines and feedback to the content team to build content which is SEO friendly.

Using advanced search techniques in Google to identify potential link opportunities

Explain what worked and what didn’t to the management. And future plan of action.

Execute a successful link-building strategy

Plan, develop and implement our SEO strategy

Regularly perform thorough keywords research

Identify key SEO KPIs, monitor redirects, click rate, bounce rate, and other KPIs, prepare and present reports regularly

Suggest improvements in process and productivity optimization

Collaborate with web developers and marketing team

Stay up to date with the latest SEO and digital marketing latest trends and best practices

Collaborate with our engineering, marketing, and leadership team

Track the initiatives and measure week over week progress

Come up with various ideas and strategies to sustain the growth

A/B test various strategies, make improvements and take key decisions around them

Be data driven and open to experimentation
