**Job Type**: part-time
We are seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer to join our team. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing interior design projects that meet our clients' needs and aspirations. If you have a passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to create stunning and functional spaces, we invite you to apply.
**Responsibilities**:
1. Concept Development and Space Planning:
- Work closely with clients to understand their design requirements, preferences, and budget constraints.
- Create innovative and cohesive design concepts that align with clients' vision and functional needs.
- Develop detailed space plans, layouts, and 3D visualizations to effectively communicate design ideas to clients and project teams.
2. Material and Finishes Selection:
- Select appropriate materials, finishes, colors, and lighting fixtures to enhance the aesthetic appeal and functionality of interior spaces.
- Research and source furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) that align with the design concept, budget, and project timeline.
- Prepare comprehensive material boards and specifications to guide the procurement and installation process.
3. Technical Drawings and Documentation:
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate implementation of design intent during the construction phase.
- Review and approve shop drawings, samples, and prototypes to ensure compliance with design specifications.
4. Project Management:
- Manage and oversee interior design projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely procurement, delivery, and installation of design elements.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, address design-related issues, and ensure compliance with design intent.
5. Client Collaboration and Presentation:
- Establish strong relationships with clients, understanding their preferences, objectives, and expectations.
- Effectively communicate design concepts and solutions to clients through presentations, mood boards, and visualizations.
- Incorporate client feedback and requirements into the design process to ensure client satisfaction and project success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Interior Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design capabilities and range of projects.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of interior design principles, materials, finishes, and building codes.
- Excellent design and visualization skills, with a keen eye for aesthetics and functionality.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, consultants, and project teams.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience in commercial, residential, or institutional interior design projects is preferred.
- Familiarity with sustainable design practices and certifications such as LEED is a plus.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Contractual / Temporary, Freelance
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 12 per week
**Salary**: ₹9,426.68 - ₹50,474.38 per month
