**Key roles and responsibilities**
- Managing and maintaining the accounts, in compliance with accounting procedures and policies for monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Supporting internal and external audit requirements.
- Ensuring all journal entries are posted timely and accurately.
- Processing and making payments to vendors including review of invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval.
- Processing expenses claims.
- Invoicing and coordinating collections from company debtors.
- Review of trial Balance for accuracy and corrections
- Assisting in indirect tax, withholding tax and other statutory compliances
- Preparing bank reconciliations, ageing report and statement of accounts.
- Resolving all payables related issues with internal and external stakeholders.
- Working with various stakeholders to improve AP process, controls & analysis.
- Contributing to process improvement initiatives for increasing efficiency of the finance function.
- Working on Ad Hoc Projects as per the needs of the Team Organisation

**Requirements**:

- A Finance professional with 1-2 years of experience.
- Sound knowledge of Accounting Standards. Experience in US GAAP preferred.
- Strong knowledge on TDS and GST.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with employees, superiors, vendors and customers.
- Highly analytical and number-oriented as well as a detail-oriented approach towards problem-solving
- Expert working knowledge in Excel spreadsheets.
- Strong problem solving and creative thinking skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.
- An analytical mind with an ability to engage and interact with employees at different levels and across different functions of the company and exercise sound judgment.
- Ability to work in a diverse and cross-functional environment.
- Start-up experience preferred.
