**Reporting to**: Project Manager

**1. **JOB PURPOSE**

The Hans Foundation will support Sewa Dham school. Computer Teacher will be responsible to provide comprehensive computer science education by creating engaging lesson plans, evaluating student performance, maintaining classroom resources, fostering creativity, updating curriculum, ensuring functional computer equipment, managing student behavior, and staying abreast of advancements in technology, all while adhering to school policies and promoting a conducive learning environment.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Visit Required 6 days in a week or as per requirement.
- Evaluates student performances in class and on tests and provides feedback.
- Creates lesson plans that are appropriate for the age and abilities of the students.
- Assigns special project to students.
- Provides appropriate resources and learning materials for students.
- Identifies varying teaching methods that work best for students who learn differently.
- Develops and updates curriculum for the classroom.
- Encourages creativity in students.
- Maintains computer laboratories and keeps an inventory of supplies.
- Ensures that computer equipment is functioning properly.
- Maintains accurate records of students’ progress in class and on examination.
- Keeps order in the classroom and handles student behaviour issues in accordance with school system policies.
- Maintains an orderly classroom stocked with appropriate supplies.
- Stays up-to date on changes and advancements in computer technology taught in the classroom.
- Ensure classroom has updated hardware and software,
- Keeps all classroom work backed up.
- Ensures that the internet in the classroom is used only for appropriated educational purpose.

**Educational Qualifications**

**Functional / Technical Skills and Relevant Experience & Other requirements (Behavioural, Language, Certifications etc.)**
- 2-3 years of experience as a classroom teacher
- High-Tech computer skills

**Required Skills & Competences**:

- Through knowledge of computer science technology relative teaching pedagogy for secondary and senior secondary school students.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstration ability to work with a diverse student population.
