Job Description - QA Physiotherapy
Maintains accurate patient records for billing purposes and audits patient's charts for RAP and Final billings.
Manages all daily clinical records functions including establishing and implementing clinical records policies.
Does the initial audit of patient's MD orders and frequency.
Tracks all written physician's orders to ensure timely submission of signed order.
Ensures clinical record systems are in compliance with state, federal and JCAHO regulations.
Completes an administrative record audit following patient discharge and forwards the records to the Clinical Supervisor/ Nursing Supervisor for clinical audit.
Responsible for auditing clinicians' visit notes and frequencies.
Responsible for following up and collecting clinical documentation/notes from Clinicians on a timely manner per agency policies and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned by Clinical Supervisor/Director of Patient Care Services.

**Position Requirements & Competencies**:
Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
Must have 1-2 years of recent experience working in a healthcare environment, preferably home care.
Understanding of basic medical terminology
Interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
Computer skills including but not limited to MS Office, MS Excel and Scheduling program
