**Mammography Technician (Female) Job Description**

**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
1. **Patient Preparation**:

- Greet patients and explain mammography procedures to alleviate any anxiety or concerns.
- Assist patients with changing into appropriate attire and positioning them for mammography exams.
- Ensure patient comfort and privacy throughout the imaging process.

2. **Equipment Operation**:

- Operate mammography equipment to perform screening and diagnostic mammograms according to physician orders.
- Adjust imaging parameters and techniques to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
- Perform quality control checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with regulatory standards.

3. **Image Acquisition and Analysis**:

- Capture high-quality mammographic images of breast tissue, ensuring proper positioning and compression.
- Review images for clarity, positioning, and technical quality, and retake images if necessary.
- Assist radiologists in interpreting mammograms and providing accurate diagnostic information.

4. **Patient Education and Support**:

- Provide education to patients about the importance of breast health, mammography screening, and self-examination techniques.
- Offer emotional support and reassurance to patients during the mammography process, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.

5. **Documentation and Record Keeping**:

- Document imaging procedures, patient information, and findings accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Maintain comprehensive records of mammography exams, including patient history, imaging results, and follow-up recommendations.

**Requirements**:

- Associate's degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Certification in Mammography from an accredited program.
- State licensure or certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technician preferred.
- Proficiency in operating mammography equipment and specialized imaging software.
- Strong knowledge of breast anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in providing care to female patients.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

**Experience**:
