A ward boy, also known as a ward assistant, provides care for patients in hospitals or clinics. Their duties include:
- **Patient care**: Helping patients with daily tasks like bathing, dressing, using the toilet, and moving in and out of bed
Ward boys are not as qualified as doctors or nurses, but they perform important services. Ward boys may also work in patients' homes. They may need to be flexible and work on rotational shifts, including nights, holidays, and Sundays. They may also need to plan for long leaves and ensure to give and receive handovers to the next shift.
- **Patient transportation**: Transporting patients to different departments in the hospital
- **Ward maintenance**: Keeping the ward clean and tidy, and maintaining and repairing linen and equipment
- **Patient feeding**: Serving meals and feeding patients as needed
- **Patient exercise**: Helping patients with exercises or walks as prescribed by a doctor
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher
Pay: ₹7,500.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
