Job Location- Lagos, India- Experience (in Years)- 7 - 15- Job Type- Full Time**Job Description**:
**Job Summary**:

- Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, upgrade fishing vessels and base, specifically the refrigeration system and compressors
- Test and commissioning refrigeration system after repair and maintenance
- Overhaul of compressors, testing, and commissioning of the compressor repair Compressors on board are Carrier and Bitzer compressors. Open type.

**Operation & planning**:

- take note and action of the daily job planned on vessels and base from his line manager
- Propose suggestions for improve and upgrade refrigeration plant maintenance standard

**Administrative, communication, reporting**:

- Communicate effectively with his line manager
- Focus on preventive maintenance
- Regular daily updates to the line manager on progress of the job
- Fill daily job done report and transmit to his line management
- Advise in time his line manager, spares needed related to his job plan
- Propose solutions for improve the refrigeration department
- Keep record of his overhauling and maintenance activity and submit weekly to line manager

**Safety**:

- Maintain a safe and secure work environment

**Objectives**:

- Reduce technical downtime of vessels and base maintenance
- Costeffectiveness
- Quality of work
- Zero incident

**Area of knowledge required**
- Ability to prioritize works according to urgency and importance
- Ability to multitask, follow up on different projects, respect deadlines
- Problem solving, autonomous
- Disciplined and mature
- Knowledge of administrative works (reportingdatabase)
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to transfer his knowledge to trainee
- Continually updating himself with knowledge of ship maintenance
- Flexible with work hours

**Requirements**:

- Diploma in refrigeration graduate/or diploma in electro technical graduate with high experience and practice recognized during previous employment.
- Highly experienced in compressor overhauling
- Experience of minimum ten years
- Strong leadership skills
