**Position Title**: Dean - Academics - PGDM/MBA Programme
**Qualification & Experience**:
MBA, Ph.D. with 10 to 15 years of experience
(HR, Operations, Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Strategic Management)
**Reporting To**: Director
**Salary**: Best in the industry
**Position Overview**:
The Dean of Academics for the PGDM/MBA programme is responsible for the academic leadership and administration of the PGDM/MBA programme. This role involves overseeing the curriculum, aligning credits, coordinating timetables, managing faculty allocation, and ensuring the overall quality and relevance of the academic programme. The Dean will also be instrumental in maintaining student discipline, organizing academic events, and liaising with industry experts to enhance the program's value.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Curriculum Development and Management**:
- Oversee the development and delivery of core courses and specialization verticals.
- Align credits for all courses, including specializations, ensuring they meet academic standards.
**Academic Coordination**:
- Coordinate the trimester timetable to ensure optimal scheduling of classes and activities.
- Allocate courses to faculty members in consultation with the Director.
**Guest Lecturers and Industry Engagement**:
- Plan and organize guest lectures and CEO talks in coordination with faculty and the Director to provide industry insights and enhance learning.
**Examination and Assessment**:
- Coordinate the examination schedule, ensuring timely and fair assessments.
- Monitor teaching notes, lesson planning, and progress to ensure adherence to the trimester timetable.
**Faculty Management**:
- Monitor faculty attendance and class schedules to ensure compliance.
- Conduct rounds during classes to ensure smooth functioning and address any immediate issues.
- Ensure regular faculty session feedbacks are taken and discuss the same on a weekly basis with the Director and trustee.
- Develop, update, and review faculty's daily tasks.
**Academic Events and Faculty Development**:
- Organize seminars, workshops, and faculty development programs in coordination with faculty members and the Director.
- Contribute personally towards student events, ensuring active participation and success.
**Industry Relevance and Curriculum Roadmap**:
- Create a roadmap for courses to ensure industry relevance, in consultation with the Director.
**Student Discipline and Welfare**:
- Oversee student discipline, addressing issues promptly and fairly.
- Foster a positive academic environment and student well-being.
- Ensure success in night sessions by coordinating faculty and maintaining student engagement.
**Academic Calendar and Reporting**:
- Create and maintain the academic calendar, ensuring all important dates and deadlines are met.
- Prepare board meeting content and reports in collaboration with the Director.
- Generate weekly meeting reports on academic activities and progress.
**International Collaborations**:
- Ensure international collaborations are executed well as per MoU.
- Allocate faculty and involve self for the success of these collaborations.
**Documentation and Compliance**:
- Maintain records related to accreditation and other compliances of the institution to ensure the execution of the process.
**Deputy Director Responsibilities**:
- Act as the deputy Director in charge upon instructions from the Director during his absence.
**Additional Responsibilities**:
- Take on additional responsibilities as required or as they emerge according to institutional requirements over period of time. The nature of the job may change as per the changing needs of the institution.

**Industry Collaboration and Networking**:
- Skilled in building and maintaining relationships with industry professionals to enhance academic programmes.
**Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills**:
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with faculty, students, and industry stakeholders.
**Strong Organizational and Analytical Abilities**:
- Ability to organize academic activities, analyze academic performance, and implement improvements.
**Problem-solving and Conflict Resolution**:
- Competent in resolving academic and administrative issues efficiently and effectively.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
