ROLE: Principal - Infra - Cost Analysis and Budgeting

ROLE DESCRIPTION

You will be critical in helping our team formalize, standardize, and mature our cloud services offerings.

You understand the importance of security and believe risk management should be tackled early and not as an afterthought.

You have been in the trenches helping teams obtain authority to operate ATO and can have intelligent discussions around NIST recommendations and security controls.

You are passionate about automation and creating an environment that fosters DevSecOps approaches.

You articulate the connection from technical services to business capabilities and help client organizations navigate the tension between evolving traditional IT processes and modern techniques.

You also understand that success is not about being a hero its about developing a capable team to deliver the right solutions to our customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead all AWS Cloud Navigation efforts.

Provide technical expertise for Architecting solutions responsive to federal mandates, priorities, and goals.

Inform the balance of security, tech debt, feature, and defect work

Estimate the financial impact of solution architecture alternatives

Drive continuous improvement

Install, operate, and maintain cyber security systems.

Contribute to the design of existing and future platforms.

Effectively and efficiently troubleshoot the system and the infrastructure that supports it.

Routinely interact with clients and internal teams such as developers and analyst teams.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Ability to maintain an active clearance.

Ability to obtain and maintain an active CDC clearance

8+ years of experience with all phases of the systems development lifecycle.

5+ years of experience with IT infrastructure, Cyber Security, Data Analytics, and Digital Platforms.

3+ years of experience in building DevOps and CICD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, containers, CICD pipelines, and Git repositories such as Gitlab.

Basic knowledge on networking technologies

BS or MS in IT or equivalent degree or equivalent experience

PREFERRED SKILLS

AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional

Experience in Data Architecture, integration, and migration

MCSE Cloud Platform and InfrastructureVMWare Cloud

SOFT SKILLS- Excellent communication skills, verbal as well as written- Positive attitude with flexibility and maturity to work in a challenging client environment- Ability to drive project responsibilities in a dynamic and proactive manner- Ability to showcase three Mahindra RISE Pillars e.g. Accepting No Limits, Driving Positive Change and Alternative Thinking
