Vfx Supervisor

We’re looking for a passionate VFX Supervisor to work on exciting projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Participate in pre-production meetings.
- Lead the production and implementation of top-quality VFX for our existing and future projects.
- Anticipate problems and present solutions adapted to time and budget constraints.
- Supervise and guide the artists to achieve the desired output.
- Recruit and manage teams for production and post-production.
- Support the coordination team to maintain the pipeline's efficiency and allow the artists to achieve their production objectives and deadlines.
- Evaluate the utility of new tools/software available on the market.
- Monitor technological developments.
- Own post-production sections of project tracking spreadsheets on Gsuite and Milanote, and update the team on projects status and date changes.
- 5 to 6 Years of Work Experience as a VFX / Post-production supervisor
- Experience working in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines.
- Extensive knowledge of production and CG pipelines.
- Thorough understanding of film production pipeline and on-set experience.
- Knowledge of various 2D/3D software is a must.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, with emphasis on Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
- Proficiency with Nuke and Max or Maya.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills. Excellent project management skills.
- Ability to supervise and assign tasks to a production team.
- Must have teamwork, organisation and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work independently when required.
- Must possess extreme attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work extended hours and/or weekends, as required.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Strong writing and grammar skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile growth environment where you will get your hands on the details.
- The ability to create hand-painted textures as well as rendered textures (e.g. Houdini).
- Experience with real-time animation techniques as used by VFX systems.
