**Job Title: PDF Accessibility Specialist**

We are seeking a dedicated PDF Accessibility Specialist to join our team and ensure that our digital documents are accessible to individuals with disabilities. As a PDF Accessibility Specialist, you will play a crucial role in making our content compliant with accessibility standards, including **WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) and PDF/UA (PDF/Universal Accessibility).**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Evaluate existing PDF documents for accessibility compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Remediate PDF files to ensure they meet accessibility standards, including proper tagging, alternative text for images, logical reading order, and accessible forms.
- Collaborate with content creators, designers, and developers to implement accessible document practices throughout the content creation lifecycle.
- Conduct accessibility audits and testing using assistive technologies to validate compliance.
- Stay updated with accessibility guidelines, best practices, and industry standards related to PDF accessibility.
- Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on creating and maintaining accessible PDF documents.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of accessibility policies and procedures.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proficiency in PDF accessibility standards and guidelines, including **WCAG 2.1 and PDF/UA.**:

- Experience using tools for PDF remediation, such as **Adobe Acrobat Pro, Common Look PDF, or other accessibility tools.**:

- Knowledge of assistive technologies used by individuals with disabilities, such as screen readers (e.g., JAWS, NVDA) and magnification software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify accessibility issues within complex documents.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross - functional teams.
- Familiarity with document management systems and content authoring tools is a plus.
- Experience in conducting accessibility assessments or audits is preferred.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
