Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation:
- Prepare and assemble food items according to standardized recipes and portion sizes.
- Ensure that food items are cooked, heated, and served at appropriate temperatures.
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to prevent contamination and ensure food hygiene.
- Serving Customers:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring to note any special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously.
- Handle cash and process transactions accurately using cash registers or POS systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized serving area.
- Cleaning and Sanitization:
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces regularly.
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchenware as needed.
- Ensure that the dining area, serving counters, and seating areas are kept clean and tidy.
- Dispose of waste and recyclables properly.
- Stock Management:
- Monitor inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies.
- Replenish stock as needed and rotate items to maintain freshness.
- Assist with receiving deliveries and storing items appropriately.
- Customer Service:
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve complaints or concerns in a prompt and professional manner.
- Provide helpful information about menu items, ingredients, and allergens.
- Ensure that customers have a positive dining experience by maintaining a welcoming atmosphere and providing excellent service.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Adhere to all relevant food safety regulations and guidelines.
- Follow established procedures for health and safety, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Participate in training sessions on food safety, hygiene, and customer service as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 10 th Pass diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in a food service or hospitality environment is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating orders.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy objects if required.
**Salary**: ₹9,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
