**Responsibilities**
- Should have hands on experience in a global supply chain function ideally within the forecast and planning area of a distribution network.
- Support demand planning process through Forecast validation, Market intelligence validation, Kanban Calculation and set up
- Preparation of supplier forecast and monitoring the consumption
- Support supplier performance measurement and improvement
- Support supplier contract implementation
- Preparation and maintenance of the control tower
- Conduct RCA for stockout, OTTR and take mitigation actions
- Support project in Demand, supply, Inventory balancing process and S&OP Meetings
- Support and provide inputs to deliver defective returns
- Evaluating the Kanban, forecast, mitigating the stock out risks, Root cause analysis on the on-time delivery misses, Collaboration with various global stakeholders etc

**Qualifications**
- Preferably graduate/post-graduate in any stream having experience in Demand -supply planning and Balancing
- Above 5 years of experience from a global international supply chain function within production, Material planning and spare parts /service environment
- Solid experience in inventory planning primarily in a global distribution network
- Supply chain certifications (eg: APICS-CPIM, CSCP) preferred but not mandatory
- Hands-on experience in SAP

**Competencies**
- Good knowledge in SAP (MM module specifically), MS Excel.
- Ability to understand the Master data parameters and its implications on the planning side
- Systematic approach towards problem solving (8D, Fishbone etc)
- Basic statistics knowledge
- Ability to understand the complex supply chain network and its intricacies
- Ability to work on Ambiguity to provide clarity and sail through the murky water
