ROLE DESCRIPTION

**Designation/Job Title: Admissions In-charge**

**Location: Aurangabad**

**A.** **Role Purpose**

The Admission’s In-charge is responsible for all aspects of the K-12 admissions process,

including developing and implementing recruitment strategy; guiding students and families

**B.** **Key Responsibilities & Corresponding Tasks**

**Primary Duties**:

- **Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:_
- Serving as the face of the School to prospective students and parents.
- Providing a welcoming environment and smooth transition for new students and parents and working with Parents’ Association representatives on events for new family.
- Managing the re-enrolment process for currently enrolled students.
- Organizing and overseeing recruitment events, including open houses
- Organizing and training student Admission Office representatives.
- Working with the Communications/ Advocacy Manager in developing admission and marketing materials, mailings and publications.
- Overseeing the content on the Admission portion of the School’s website.
- Preparing, maintaining, and analyzing statistics regarding recruitment, retention, and attrition and reporting annual enrolment statistics to the management
- Representing the School at Admission events and various gatherings and conferences, as appropriate.
- Building strong relationships with feeder schools and other individuals and organizations in the area,
- Planning and overseeing the Admission Office budget.
- Creating and serving as a member of the Diversity Committees.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Principal.
- Exit interviews

**I.** **ADMISSIONS**

1. Annual (Nursery-September, KG-X & Class XI - April)

i. Seat availability Planning

ii. Ad design & Release

iii. Design & Printing of Brochure, registration forms, admission forms etc

iv. Registration process (planning & monitoring of over 1000 annual registrations)

v. Communication

vi. Logistics Planning and conducting of Parent Interactions for all classes

vii. Admission process design and Process lead for the annual admission process

viii. Handling critical final processes and communication

ix. Q & A at the time of parent interaction

x. Process Design, scheduling and conducting of e-tests

xi. ERP and Database management

2. Mid-Session

i. Ensuring net admissions are positively placed

ii. Enquiry Handling

iii. Conducting Admission Tests

iv. Scheduling Parent Interactions

v. Completion of Student Personal Files

1. Personal files

**III.** **COMMUNICATIONS**

1. Online communication with parents & others w.r.t admissions

i. Newsletter

ii. Blogs

iv. Other Queries

2. Writing Skills should be very good and professional

3. Student Exit data compilation

i. Interview parents and compile data collected

ii. Maintain MIS and reports

**Other Duties**:

- Providing effective leadership and management of the program for admission of new students to the School in grades PK-12.
- Working with the Principal, the division heads, and the faculty to facilitate the retention of mission-appropriate students who are currently enrolled at the School.
- Working with the Principal and HR in making financial aid decisions.
- Conceptualizing and implementing innovative recruitment strategies that, in concert with traditional methodologies, will lead to expansion of the pool of qualified applicants who will enrol at the school

**C.** **Key Result Areas (Metrics used to review the performance)**

I. Quality & frequency of right communication to parents & larger community

II. Maintaining MIS & reports

III. Supervising and monitoring trackers and timesheets

IV. 24 hour response time to parents and community on queries etc

V. Ensuring mid-session, net admissions are positively placed

VI. Efficient handling of annual admissions event

**Job Specification**:
**Qualification**: Any Post graduate degree.

**Experience**: Preferably at least 5 Years in any of the following: sales, PR or Administration.

**Compensation**:
**Salary**: ₹10,025.97 - ₹64,337.09 per month
