The Storekeeper will play a critical role in managing inventory and ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Inventory Management**:

- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials, parts, and supplies.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels using computerized systems.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment orders as needed to avoid stockouts.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Organize and maintain inventory storage areas for efficient access and retrieval.
- **Material Handling**:

- Safely handle and store materials according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and identification of materials to facilitate easy retrieval.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to expedite delivery schedules and resolve any issues with suppliers.
- Collaborate with production staff to fulfill material requisitions in a timely manner to support manufacturing operations.
- **Quality Control**:

- Assist in inspecting incoming materials for quality and compliance with specifications.
- Identify and report any quality issues or discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
- Participate in periodic quality audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of receipts, issuances, and inventory transactions.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, consumption rates, and stock movements as required.
- Provide regular updates to management on inventory status, trends, and potential issues.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Comply with company policies, regulations, and standards related to inventory management and storage.
- Participate in safety training programs and contribute to the continuous improvement of safety practices.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
- Proven experience as a storekeeper, warehouse clerk, or similar role, preferably in an engineering manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Forklift certification and knowledge of material handling equipment are desirable.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹23,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
