myNachiketa seeks to build a D2C brand that develops products to bring the knowledge of Gita & Upanishads to children. Children do not know ideas of Hindu Philosophy, which may be easily amenable to them through stories, metaphors and demos. We are designing innovative products including videos, courses, books, games, workshops, etc. and bringing them to the masses through various channels. Our method is to encourage kids to question and think of various different ways of arriving at answers, rather than developing a regimented thought process. Our goal is to rapidly grow into the market and reach every child in India between the age of 0-14 and gradually target all the kids in the world. We believe we have a unique opportunity since there is no large brand for Hinduism for kids right now.

We are backed by seasoned team who have built a 100 million dollar company and have substantial experience in product development, market fit and go-to-market. We officially started working from July 2021. We are well funded for the next three years and we want to do something remarkable for the young generation.

**About the role: Marketing & Sales Intern**

As a **Marketing and Sales Intern**, you will have the opportunity to work directly with the senior leadership team and help run marketing campaigns, drive sales conversions, talk to customers and managing offline events.

This intern will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, fostering strong customer relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to their overall success and profitability.

**Responsibilities**
- Talk to customers, understand customer issues and help improve product
- Increase reach through offline events including branding, marketing, and operations.
- Reach out and close deals with distributors and resellers.
- Identify and operationalize new points of sales
- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams
- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints
- Updating sales records and documents accurately
- Communicate with vendors and clients for bulk orders
- Working with the team to manage customer data, invoices

- Experience with Word and Excel preferred
