Room Service Order Taker

Sample responsibilities for this position include:
To inquire in advance the daily specials, soup-of-the-day other special

Learns the Room Service Menu and Beverage Lists, the daily availability items and seasonal specialties including prices

Will promote a safe work environment and follow all company safety and security policies and procedures

Input and process food and beverage orders and tickets for Room Service utilizing P.O.S

Ensure that work areas, computers and phones are to be organized, neat and clean at all times, ensure there is enough paper/office supplies at all times

Ensure a professional environment, the noise level needs to be kept to a minimum while orders are being taken

Ensure Room Service phones are covered constantly, whenever a break is needed, ensure that another trained staff member is answering the phones

Quickly and politely assist guest by calling the appropriate department if a guest calls for information or services other than In Room Dining (bathrobe, shaving cream)

Handle orders and billing for amenities, cakes or flowers, fill out the appropriate form and follow appropriate procedures by informing all departments involved

Take orders for Room Service, ring the order into the computer, ensure orders are executed and delivered according to standards

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹8,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
