**Chitra & Associates Immigration Consultants Inc. is a leading professional Immigration and education consultancy firm located in Vancouver, British Columbia Canada and servicing clients in Canada and across the world. It provides its services in the area of Immigration, Express Entry, Provincial Nominee Programs, **work permits **, **visitor visas **and **study permits, Spousal Sponsorship etc **.**
**Responsibilities**:
The Legal Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the immigration firm, ensuring efficient administrative processes, and providing support to immigration consultants and clients. The Service Provider agrees to provide the following services:
- **Client Coordination**:
- Assist clients in filling out required forms and documentation.
- Document Management:
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic files.
- Ensure all client documents are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with immigration regulations.
- Prepare and submit documents to relevant authorities.
**Administrative Support**:
- Provide general administrative support to immigration consultants and other team members.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and interviews.
- Record Keeping:
- Prepare reports as needed by immigration consultants or management.
- Application Processing:
- Liaise with relevant government agencies and authorities as needed.
- Financial Record Management:
- Manage and maintain financial records, including invoices, receipts, and expenses.
- Reconcile financial transactions and ensure accuracy in financial documentation.
- Prepare financial reports for management and consultants.
**Compliance**:
- Stay informed about changes in immigration laws and regulations.
- Ensure that all activities and financial documentation comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Database Management:
- Input and update client information in the firm's database.
- Manage financial data within the firm's systems.
- Generate reports and analytics related to financial records.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other team members, including immigration consultants, lawyers, and administrative staff.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Any other services allocated from time to time.
**Qualifications**:
- Experience in Canadian Immigration system would be an asset
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Ability to multi-task, reliable, punctual, able to work independently as well as in a team setting
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
**Language Ability**:
- Language ability - English - Excellent
- Exceptional legal writing skills, verbal and written communication;
- Additional language - French will be an asset
**Academic Qualification**:
Undergraduate university degree preferably in law/communication
**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
